Diet and Exercise Makeover, Days 14-16

How long am I going to keep these obnoxious post titles going? At least another week. This has been my motivation and where I hold myself accountable and I’ve been able hang onto my goals so far. They say you need 21 days to make something a habit so I’m going to give it another week posting here and see if I can continue my healthier streak.

Saturday’s movement was a nice 2 mile walk with Caleb in the stroller. Jeff took Julian up to put the docks in at the lakehouse so I enjoyed a lovely, quiet newborn and mama day. I missed my big boys but it was so nice to have undivided one on one time with Caleb. He was in a tired mood and slept most of the day which made it an easy day for me where I got to pretty much do what I wanted – walk and then run a couple errands and nap with him on the couch all snuggled up. ❤

Sunday I did a short but challenging 20 minute BodyFitbyAmy youtube video that called for lots of squats, side squats and lunges. I am feeling it today!

Naps have not exactly lined up today. I got Julian down a little early for his nap just as Caleb was waking up. Once I got him fed and back down I made myself a Chocolate Avocado Peanut Butter Smoothie and sat down to type this post up.

I really should get up and do a workout of some sort but honestly this weather today is sucking the life out of me.

It’s been rainy and cold for 2 days (actually the entire “spring”) and it even SNOWED yesterday a little bit. I have just had it with this “NovApril” we are having. I just ordered a double stroller after a lot of debate which should be in by the end of the week so I am dying for some sunshine and warmer weather!

Don’t mind the horrendous screen on my window.

UPDATE:

I did it! I pulled out a 20 minute workout today just before Caleb woke up from a nap. I used a totally different youtube workout that was actually pretty bad. It said it was safe for women who have just given birth but I quit after the instructor started doing crunches. I don’t see how that’s safe for women dealing with diastasis recti. That was just one of the issues I found! But I moved for 20 minutes, which is at least something.

That’s it for me today.

Xoxo
